⇒ Is 4x + 7y divisible by 2?⇔ This question simply is asking you if there is a possibility that you can take out the highest common factor of 2 in the expression 4x+7y.

⇒ We cannot take out the highest common factor of 2 in this expression since there is the term 7y that has the coefficient 7 which is NOT divisible by 2. the expression 4x+7y

cannot be written in the form a(b+c)

⇒∴ 4x + 7y is not divisible by 2

If you want me to clarify more in this question please say so as soon possible so that I can make time for you.
