Explanation:

-8(x + 7.5) ≤ 10?

expand left side:

-8x - 60 ≤ 10

subtract 60 to both sides:

-8x - 60 + 60 ≤ 10 + 60

-8x ≤ 70

dive both sides by -8: (Remember when dividing by a negative number, you flip the direction of the inequality sign)

-8x/-8 ≥ 70/-8

x ≥ -35/4

reduce right side:

x ≥ -35/4 or x ≥ -8.75 [depends on if you need fractional or decimal format]

so in set builder format: [-35/4 , ∞) or [-8.75 , ∞) [depends on if you need fractional or decimal format]
