the y-intercept is a point on the y-axis, meaning when x = 0.

so, the x-intercept here is 14 at the point (14, 0).

the y- intercept is 7 at the point (0, 7).

that means the object started falling from a height of 7 meters and hit the ground after 14 seconds.

the falling speed was then

7 meters / 14 seconds = 0.5 meters / second

what are we talking about ? an asteroid with very little gravity ?
