The Question: An employer provides two payment options for employees.

Option A: Receive $200 the first week. Receive an additional $50 for each of the following weeks.
Option B: Receive $200 the first week. Receive an additional 10% for each of the following weeks.

My Answer: Option A; 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450. Option B; 200, 220, 242, 266.2, 292.82, 322.1

Am I correct?

Your first option is correct but your second is wrong

Explanation:

In option b-

when an employee receives 10% additional for each of the following weeks:

10% of 200= 10/100 x200= 20

it means he will get $20 in extra in every week

so it will be- 220,240,260
