The l of a rectangular field is 5 metres longer than its width. if the perimeter is 150 metres , find the width​

Answer:

width = 35 m

Explanation:

w is the width, then l = w + 5

Perimeter P = 2(l + w)

=> 150 =2(w + 5 + w)

75 = 2w + 5

2w = 70

w = 35
