may not be the whole answer but I would start with the word unhealthy to describe their relationship this word captures their relationship because it is not a healthy mother-daughter relationship she has with her other two daughters, just because Cinderella is adopted. If it were, she would spoil Cinderella with riches and dresses as she does her other daughters, she would divide the work evenly between the three, and invite cinderella to the ball with them.
