⇒ we should first find the breadth of the rectangle which is the hypotenuse of the triangle on top. using Pythagoras theorem

hyp=\sqrt{(4)^(2)+(2)^(2) } \\hyp=√(16+4) \\hyp=√(20) \\hyp=2√(5)

⇒meaning the breadth of the rectangle which is also equal to the hypotenuse because is the same line is the root of 20

⇒Now we have the triangle with two known sides and 1 unknown x

x=\sqrt{(10)^(2)-(2√(5) )^(2) } \\x=√(100-20) \\=√(80) \\x=√(16*5) \\x=√(16) *√(5) \\x=4√(5)
