SOLUTION

First for -4x + 8,

For x = 5, we have

\begin{gathered} -4x+8 \\ -4(5)+8 \\ -20+8=-12\text{ } \\ \end{gathered}

For x = 5.5, we have

\begin{gathered} -4(5.5)+8 \\ -22+8=-14 \end{gathered}

For x = 6, we have

\begin{gathered} -4(6)+8 \\ -24+8=-16 \end{gathered}

For x = 7, we have

\begin{gathered} -4(7)+8 \\ -28+8=-20 \end{gathered}

For x =7.5, we have

\begin{gathered} -4(7.5)+8 \\ -30+8 \\ =-22 \end{gathered}

For 7x - 11,

For x = 5, w have

\begin{gathered} 7x-11 \\ 7(5)-11 \\ 35-11=24 \end{gathered}

For x =5.5

\begin{gathered} 7(5.5)-11 \\ 38.5-11=27.5 \end{gathered}

For x = 6

\begin{gathered} 7(6)-11 \\ 42-11=31 \end{gathered}
