We must solve for x the following equation:

6-5x=2x-7x+1.

1) First, we pass the term -5x to the right-hand-side of the equation:

6=2x-7x+5x+1

2) Now, we pass the +1 on the right to the left:

6-1=2x-7x+5x

3) We simplify both sides of the equation:

5=0

After the last simplification, we got an incompatible equation.

So we conclude that the equation for x is an incompatible system, an there are no solutions of x such that the equation
