The points which satify the equation are solution of equations.

Substitute the points in the equation to check whether ordered pair are solution of equation or not.

\begin{gathered} 5\cdot(-8)/(5)+2\cdot0=-8 \\ -8+0=-8 \\ -8=-8 \end{gathered}

Point satify the equation. So ordered pair (-8/5,0) is solution of equation.

For second point,

\begin{gathered} 5\cdot0+2\cdot(-4)=-8 \\ 0-8=-8 \\ -8=-8 \end{gathered}

Point satify the equation. So ordered pair (0,-4) is soution of equation.

For third point;

\begin{gathered} 5\cdot(-4)+2\cdot0=-8 \\ -20+0=-8 \\ -20\\e-8 \end{gathered}

Point not satisfy the equation. So ordered pair (-4,0) is not the solution of equation.

For fourth point;

\begin{gathered} 5\cdot4+2\cdot(-14)=-8 \\ 20-28=-8 \\ -8=-8 \end{gathered}

Point satisfy the equation. So ordered pair (4,-14) is solution of equation.

For fourth point;

\begin{gathered} 5\cdot1+2(-2)=-8 \\ 5-4=-8 \\ 1\\e-8 \end{gathered}

Point not satisfy the equation. So ordered pair (1,-2) is not a solution of equation.

Answer:

A (-8/5,0)

B (0,-4)

D (4,-14)
