The inverse of the function is,


\begin{gathered} \text{Let y= f(x)} \\ y=2x-3 \\ \text{Replace x with y, and solve for y} \\ x=2y-3 \\ x+3=2y \\ y=(x+3)/(2) \end{gathered}

So, the inverse of the function is,


\begin{gathered} f(x)=2x-3 \\ f^(-1)(x)=(x+3)/(2) \end{gathered}
