2(x-0.1x+2.70)=56.70

0pen the brackets


\begin{gathered} 2x-0.2x+5.4=56.70 \\ 1.8x=56.70-5.4 \\ 1.8x=51.3 \\ x=(51.3)/(1.8) \\ x=28.5 \end{gathered}
