The area of a kite when both diagonals are given is

\text{Area}=(diagona1* diagonal2)/(2)

In our case, diagonal1=38 units and diagonal2=19. By substituting these values, we get

\text{Area}=(38*19)/(2)

which gives

\begin{gathered} A=(722)/(2) \\ A=361 \end{gathered}

then, the ares is 361 units^2
