A metric weight set comes with 15 weights: 5 of them weighing 3g each, 6 of them weighing 6g each, and one each weighing 10mg, 15mg, 5cg, and 3cg. What is the heaviest object that can be weighed using this set (in grams)?

5 weights at 3 g = 5*3 =15 g

6 weights at 6 g = 6*6 = 36 g

10 mg converted to g grams 10 mg * 1 g/ 1000mg = .01 grams

15 mg converted to grams 15 mg * 1 g / 1000 mg = .015 grams

5 cg converted to grams 5 cg * 1g/100 cg = .05 grams

3 cgconverted to grams 3 cg * 1g/100 cg = .03 grams

Add the weights together

15 + 36+.01+.015+.05+.03

51.105 grams
