(6.3)^2+b^2=(15.4)^2 <-- plug in a and c values into equation


39.69+b^2=237.16 <-- take out parentheses


b^2=197.47 <-- subtract 39.69 from both sides


b=14.0524019299 <-- take the square root of 197.47

Not sure how much you want to round to so that's the exact answer.
