The larger of two similar polygons has a perimeter of 175 cm. if the scale between the two polygons is 3/4, what is the perimeter of the smaller polygon?

Let the perimeters be P1 (for the smaller one ) and (P2 for thr larger one), we have,


(P1)/(P2)=(3)/(4)

Also we have P2 = 175,


\begin{gathered} (P1)/(175)=(3)/(4) \\ P1=(175*3)/(4)=131.25\text{ cm} \end{gathered}

The answer is 131.25 cm.
