It is given that the original garden measures a 5 yard on a side.

So, x=5.

The area of the larger garden is given by the expression

(x+1)(x+4)

So, substitute x=5 in the above expression.

\begin{gathered} y=(x+1)(x+4) \\ =(5+1)(5+4) \\ =(6)(9) \\ =54 \end{gathered}

So, area of the larger garden is 54 square yards.

The point on the graph will be (x,y)=(5,54).
