\begin{gathered} (sinX)/(x)=(sinZ)/(z) \\ (sin46.5)/(x)=(sin39.4)/(7) \\ Cross\text{ multiplying;} \\ x=(7* sin46.5)/(sin39.4) \end{gathered}

Hence,


\begin{gathered} x=7.99965 \\ \\ To\text{ the nearest tenth of a unit,} \\ x=8.0\text{ units} \end{gathered}

Therefore, to the nearest tenth, x = 8.0 units
