1/4

1) We need to convert those Mixed Numbers into improper fractions, at first.

So we have:

2)We keep the denominator. Then we multiply that denominator by the whole number and then add it to the numerator of the Mixed Number.

\begin{gathered} 1(1)/(7)\text{ : 4}(4)/(7)\text{ =} \\ (8)/(7)\text{ : }(32)/(7) \\ (8)/(7)*(7)/(32)=(8)/(32)=(1)/(4) \end{gathered}

• As now we have improper fractions let's divide them.

,

• Reciprocating the divisor

,

• Multiplying it,

,

• Simplifying it we have the quotient as ,1/4
