Determine the total number of books.

\begin{gathered} T=108+170 \\ =278 \end{gathered}

Determine the fiction books in adult books.

108-72=36

Determine the total number of fiction books.

\begin{gathered} F=36+70 \\ =106 \end{gathered}

Determine the probability for selecting fiction book.

\begin{gathered} P(Fiction)=(106)/(278) \\ =0.38129 \\ \approx0.381 \end{gathered}

So answer is P(fiction) = 0.381
