- 2 > 3(b+4) / -2

multiply both-side of the inequality by -2

4 < 3(b+4)

open the parenthesis

4 < 3b + 12

subtract 12 from both-side of the inequality

4 - 12 < 3b

-8 < 3b

divide both-side of the inequality by 3

(-8)/(3)\text{ }<\text{ b}

b>-(8)/(3)
b>-2(2)/(3)
