Solution

We have the following system of equations:

y=2x+1 (1)

-4x+2y=2 (2)

We can replace the first equation in the second one and we got:

-4x + 2*(2x+1) = 2

And solving for x we got:

-4x +4x +2= 2

2=2

Then the system have infinite solutions
