2) The solution set of the inequality:

Therefore the solution set of the given inequalities is:


(-\infty,-2\rbrack\cup(-\infty,-5).

Since -5<-2 then:


(-\infty,-5)\subseteq(-\infty,-2\rbrack,

Therefore:
