Solution

To find the distance between (3, 3) and (-3, -2), we use the formula


D=√((x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2)


\begin{gathered} (x_1,y_1)=(3,3) \\ \\ (x_2,y_2)=(-3,-2) \end{gathered}
\Rightarrow D=√((-3-3)^2+(-2-3)^2)=√(36+25)=√(61)

Therefore, the distance between the points (3, 3) and (-3, -2) is


D=√(61)
