A customer purchases a box of cereal. The cereal weighs 15 ounces

The customer takes 30% off the original price of cereal

i.e 30% of original price

Let the original price = x

So, 30% of x = 0.96

\begin{gathered} (30* x)/(100)=0.96 \\ 30x=0.96*100 \\ 30x=96 \\ x=(96)/(30) \\ x=3.20 \end{gathered}

So, the original price is $3.20

Answer: C) $3.20
