First, we need to convert the mixed number into a fraction

3\text{ }(2)/(5)=(15)/(5)+(2)/(5)=(17)/(5)
3(1)/(2)=(6)/(2)+(1)/(2)=(7)/(2)
3\text{ }(3)/(8)=(24)/(8)+(3)/(8)=(27)/(8)

then we can convert them into a decimal number

(17)/(5)=3.4
(7)/(2)=3.5
(27)/(8)=3.37

in a decimal number is easier to order the number for example the bigger to smaller

3\text{ }(3)/(8),\text{ 3}(1)/(2),3(2)/(5)
