The system of inequalities is:

y > x

y < -x

A(1, -7)..... Is not a solution....because -7 is NOT bigger than 1

B(-1,6) ......Is not a solution....because 6 is bigger than -1, but 6 is NOT smaller than -(-1) = 1

C(1,7).........Is not a solution...because 7 is bigger than 1, but 7 is NOT smaller than -1

D(1, -5)......Is not a solution....because -5 is NOT bigger than 1
