Division of fractions

We can know how many 3/5s are in 1 just by dividing 1 into 3/5

We rewrite 1 into a fraction

1=(1)/(1)

Then

((1)/(1))/((3)/(5))

We exchange the numbers of the fraction that divides 1 and multiply it

\begin{gathered} ((1)/(1))/((3)/(5))=(1)/(1)\cdot(5)/(3) \\ =(1\cdot5)/(1\cdot3)=(5)/(3) \\ =16.666\ldots \\ \cong16.7 \end{gathered}

Then in 1 there are 5/3 ≅ 16. 7
