3(2x + 1) + 2x – 10 = 25

First, we will open the parenthesis

6x + 3 + 2x - 10 = 25

Next is to collect like term: values with variable x will be at the left-hanside while values that are constants will be move to trhe right-hand side of the equation

6x + 2x = 25 + 10 - 3

Then simplify

8x = = 32

Divide both-side of the equation by 8

8x/8 = 32/8

x= 4
