Step 1

In the set of data, Callyn found there are five- numbers 7,9,15,16,21.

Median = 15,

Q1 = ( 7 + 9) / 2 = 8

Q3 = (16 + 21) / 2 = 37 / 2 = 18.5

smallest number = 7

largest number = 21

Hence her mistake was using her Q1 as 9 and Q3 as 16

Step 2: Write out the given values in the graph and plot it

Median = 15,

Q1 = 9

Q3 = (16 + 21) / 2 = 37 / 2 = 18.5

smallest number = 7

largest number = 21

Callyn found the five-number summary of a data set. It was 7, 9, 15, 15, 21. She made-example-1
