Given:

The slope of the line = -5

The line passing through the point (-3,-4)

The general point-slope form is:

y-k=m\cdot(x-h)

where: m is the slope and the point is (h,k)

So,

\begin{gathered} m=-5 \\ (h,k)=(-3,-4) \end{gathered}

So, the equation of the line will be:

\begin{gathered} y-(-4)=-5\cdot(x-(-3)) \\ \\ y+4=-5(x+3) \end{gathered}

so, the answer will be:

y+4=-5(x+3)
