The circumference of a circular painting is 47.1 feet. What is the radius of the painting? Use 3.14 for π and do not round your answer.

The cirfumference of a circle is:


C=2\pi *r

Use the formula above and the given data to find the radius:


\begin{gathered} 47.1ft=2(3.14)*r \\ \\ r=(47.1ft)/(2(3.14)) \\ \\ r=7.5ft \end{gathered}

Then, the radius of the circular painting is 7.5 feet
