The complex number is 2 - i.

In complex plane vertical axis represent the imaginary axis and horizontal axis respresent the real axis.

Plot the point on complex plane.

The absolute of a complex number a + bi is,

A=\sqrt[]{a^2+b^2}

Determine the absolute value of complex number 2 - i.

\begin{gathered} A=\sqrt[]{(2)^2+(-1)^2} \\ =\sqrt[]{4+1} \\ =\sqrt[]{5} \end{gathered}

So absolute value is,

\sqrt[]{5}
