c.)

When a coin is tossed, there is a probability of 1/2 getting a tail.

The word INDIANAPOLIS has 12 letters in total, with 2 Ns. This gives us a probability of 2/12.

Therefore:

P\left(tails,thenN\right)=(1)/(2)*(2)/(12)=(1)/(12)

d.) P(heads, then D or I)

When a coin is tossed, there is a probability of 1/2 getting a heads).

There would be a probability of 5/12 when getting a D or an I.

Therefore:

P=(1)/(2)*(5)/(12)=(5)/(24)
