One nanometer is equivalent to 1 x 10^-9 meter. Which is equivalent to 0.3 nanometers? *A.-3 x 10^10B.-3^10C.3 x 10^-9D.3 x 10^-10

1nm=1*10^(-9)m

We 0.3 of nanometers so let us multiply the above by 0.3 (both sides ).


0.3nm=0.3*10^(-9)m

But here is the catch! now we have to make the above as a number multiplying exponent so.


0.3nm=0.3*(10)/(10)*10^(-9)m

We have simply divided and multiplied by 10/10 which is simply 1.


0.3nm=0.3*10*10^(-9)*(1)/(10)m=3*10^(-9)*10^(-1)m=3*10^(-10)m^{}

There it is, this is the answer.!
