Simplify

\begin{gathered} 3(c-1)+2(3c+1)=-(3c+1) \\ We\text{ expand the parenthesis on the left and we now have,} \\ 3c-3+6c+2=-3c-1 \\ \text{Collect all like terms,} \\ 3c+6c+3c=-1+3-2 \\ 12c=0 \\ \text{Divide both sides by 12} \\ (12c)/(12)=(0)/(12) \\ c=0 \end{gathered}
