Answer

Angular velocity = 83.81 rad/s

Step-by-step explanation

Angular velocity w, is calculated thus

w = 2πf

where

π = pi = 3.14

f = frequency = 800 revs per minute = 80 revs/60 seconds = 13.33 revs/s

w = 2πf

w = 2 (3.14) (13.33)

w = 83.81 rad/s

We can then go forward to find the linear velocity,

v = rw

where

v = linear velocity = ?

r = radius = 15 cm = 0.15 m

w = angular velocity = 83.81 rad/s

v = rw

v = (0.15) (83.81) = 12.57 m/s

Hope this Helps!!!
