The expected value (mean) of the random variable X =62

\bar{x}=62

For the transformed variable, the expected value will be T

T=3\bar{x}+6

where x =62

Then the value of T is obtained as

\begin{gathered} T=3(62)+6=186+6 \\ T=192 \end{gathered}

The value of T is 192
