We define a bisector as a line that can divide another line or an angle in two equivalent parts. In the present case, BE is perpendicular bisector of AD, which means that the point C, where BE and AD intercept each other, is the middle point of AD, and for this reason the distance from A to C has the same lenght of the distance from C to D. And from this statement, we are able to write it as:
