We know that a pentagon has 5 interior angles, each of them measures 108°.

If we rotate the pentagon 90° then we would have to reflect across the line a to get a new pentagon on top of the old one.

The rotation will get one pentagon vertex in the bottom, then when we flip across the line a, we get the vertex up and one side as the base.

Therefore, the right answer is C.
