To determine the time taken

\begin{gathered} \text{speed = }\frac{dis\tan ce\text{ }}{time\text{ taken }} \\ \text{distance covered = 22 inches} \\ \text{speed = 1.2 inches per hour} \\ \text{make time the subject } \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} \text{time taken = }\frac{dis\tan ce\text{ }}{speed} \\ \text{time taken = }\frac{22\text{ inches}}{1.2\text{ inches per hour}} \\ \text{time taken = 18.33 hours} \end{gathered}

Hence the hour needed for the burning of the candle fully = 18.33 hours
