y=6x^4

1) Considering that y varies directly as the fourth power of x. So we can write:

y=kx^4

2) But notice, we were told when x=1, y=6 so we can write out:

\begin{gathered} y=kx^4^{} \\ 6=k(1)^4 \\ k=6 \\ \end{gathered}

Note that now, we know the constant "k" of proportionality. Then we can write the following equation:

y=6x^4

Thus, this is the answer.
