Data: Firm 2's structure is a pyramid with a square base.

To find the amount of material required to cover this structure (not including the floor) you find the surface area of the sides of a pyramid with a square base: 4 triangles with the same measures.

The area of a triangle is:

A=(1)/(2)b\cdot h

Then, the area o the structure (not including the floor) is the sum of the area of each triangle. As there are 4 triangles the area is 4 times the area of a triangle:

A_P=4((1)/(2)b\cdot h)
