In order to calculate the x-intercept of the function, we just need to find the value of x for y = 0.

In the same way, to find the y-intercept we need the value of y for x = 0.

So:


\begin{gathered} 3x-2y=6 \\ x=0\colon \\ -2y=6 \\ y=-3 \\ \\ y=0\colon \\ 3x=6 \\ x=2 \end{gathered}

So the y-intercept is (0, -3) and the x-intercept is (2, 0).

Graphing these points and the corresponding line passing through them, we have:
