`y=x+56\degree`

Replacing the last expression in the first

`x+(x+56\degree)=180\degree\Rightarrow2x=180\degree-56\degree=124`

Finally,

`2x=124\degree\Rightarrow x=(124\degree)/(2)=62\degree`

And

`y=62\degree+56\degree=118\degree`
