To determine the comission we use a rule of three:

\begin{gathered} 250200\rightarrow100 \\ x\rightarrow1.2 \end{gathered}

By the rule of three we have to do the cross multiplication; this means that we need to multiply 1.2 by 250200 and then we divide the result by 100, this can be express as:

\begin{gathered} x=((1.2)(250200))/(100) \\ =(300240)/(100) \\ =3002.4 \end{gathered}

Therefore the comission is $3002.4
