A square is a four-sided shape or plane figure which has all its sides equal in length and all the interior angles (4 interior angles) equal in length.

A square has the following properties

1. All four sides of a square are equal in length

2. All four interior angles of a square are equal. Each being equal to 90 degrees.

3. The opposite sides of a square are both parallel and equal in length.

4. The diagonals of a square bisect its angles.

5. The diagonals of a square bisect each other and meet at 90 degrees.
