Question:

If

h(x)=2x

find

h(4)

The h(4) means that we should replace every value of x in the original function with 4, That is every value of x in the function becomes 4(x=4)

Hence,

Substituting the value of x=4, we will have

\begin{gathered} h(x)=2x \\ h(4)=2*4 \\ h(4)=8 \end{gathered}

Therefore,

the value of h(4) = 8
