We have the line

y=-(1)/(4)x+7

we need to remember the slope-intercept form

y=mx+b

where m is the slope

the slope of the line given is m=-1/4

We say two lines are parallel if the lines have the same slope

1. y=1/4x-3 m=1/4

2. y=-1/4x-2 m=-1/4

3. y=-4x+7 m=-4

4. y=4x+5 m=4

as we can see the line 2 is parallel to the line given
