\begin{gathered} \text{ To find the correct value that goes into the box, we say} \\ 12\text{ divided by 3, this gives us 4. Then multiply the numerator by 4, that is 2 x 4 = 8} \\ so,\text{ 8 goes into the box above} \\ we\text{ have }(2)/(3)=\text{ }(8)/(12) \end{gathered}
